Student Activities

Sports Programs
Faith Christian Academy presently offers the following sports programs:
     Boys’ Basketball
     Girls’ Basketball
     Girls’ Volleyball
     Cheerleading
Students in grades 1-6 may participate in the youth sports program while students in grades 7-12 may participate in the junior varsity and varsity programs. Participation can strengthen character, enhance the ability to work with others as a team, offer opportunity for physical development, and promote school spirit and glorify God by manifesting our Christian faith and behavior to others. In everything we do, Christian Character and faith should be shown and deportment should be according to Biblical standards. Perhaps nowhere does the Christian get a better opportunity to exemplify Biblical standards of self-control and Spirit-controlled deportment than in athletic competition.

Field Trips
Field trips sponsored by the school are selected to benefit the students academically, socially, and spiritually. The number of trips taken is dependent upon the grade level. Field trips in the elementary school are taken twice per year, one first semester and the other second semester. Middle school and high school students attend trips once per year during the first semester of school while Juniors and Seniors take a one week trip during either their junior or senior year.
