Grades 7 -12 focus on a fairly rigorous course of study aimed at equipping students for success in college and in adult life. Students benefit from a relatively small, close knit student body, highly qualified teachers and superior facilities, including state-of-the-art science and computer labs.

  Our credits are accepted worldwide.

Aside from our record of academic excellence, perhaps the best reason to choose a Christian High School is the environment and philosophical foundation. Every course, while academically challenging, is taught from a Biblical perspective. All teachers are Christians who accept our doctrinal and philosophy statements. Students are taught to think from a Christian world view. We believe that they need to know how to make a living, but they must also know how to make a LIFE. Our school environment is safe, nuturing, and positive. Students treat each other with respect and encourage and support one another.
Virtually all of our graduating seniors attend college or university training, many of them on academic scholarships.

We offer both an advanced diploma (which is college prepratory) and a general diploma. Faith Christian Academy is approved for dual enrollment through the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Calhoun Community College, where our students may earn high school and college credits at the same time in selected courses.

Math is taught through the pre-Calculus level and science is offered through Physics. The high school diploma requires at least 4 units or credits in:  English, mathematics, science and social studies.  The Alabama Board of Regents requirement is followed in physical education, fine arts, foreign language, computer, health and other required courses.  Bible is required to be taken for credit every year.

Our graduates' scores on the ACT and SAT average far above the national averages. To date, nearly all of our graduates have gone on to higher education and about eighty percent of our graduates receive academic scholarships to excellent colleges and universities. Several have received full four-year scholarships because of their outstanding high school academic records. FCA graduates are alumni of Auburn, the University of Alabama, UAH, Calhoun Community College, Troy State University, and other colleges.

Our beautiful new gymnasium with regulation basketball court provides excellent opportunities for sports and physical education. We offer the usual extra-curricular activities, including yearbook staff, junior-senior banquet, senior trip, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. (See our Activities page for more information).

The middle school and high school programs are hosted at the "West Campus," located at 705 W. Sanderfer Road in Athens, AL.
